Juneteenth Celebration
Juneteenth Celebration
On June 19, 1865, Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas. The army announced that the 250,000 enslaved black people in the state were free; officially ending slavery by executive decree. This day will be known as "Juneteenth".
Commemorating this monumental day, is this beautiful layered candle. Layered with shimmering colors of Red, Black, Green, and yellow. The colors represent the blood, soil, and prosperity of Africa and its people.
With notes of African Frankincense, African Sandalwood, and Rose.
20% of all Juneteenth purchases will be donated to the NAACP.
